CAT 2013
The dates for the CAT 2013 have been announced . It would be conducted between 16 October – 11 November 2013.
As per a statement, the CAT vouchers will be available at the selected Axis Bank branches between 29 July – 24 September 2013 and the registration window will be open between 29 July to 26 September 2013.
Four new testing locations will be added for CAT 2013, which will be Surat, Udaipur, Trivandrum and Vijayawada.
Prometric India will be partnering with IIMs for conducting the test. However it must be noted that this particular information is yet to be out by the CAT official website.
Common Admission Test is a computer based test. This test scores a person on the bases of Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning.

CAT Exam 2013 Paper Type
The period of the exam will be for 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute discussion
group. No break will be given during the test. The test
consists of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, and
logical & data interpretation abilities. Therefore, there are a total of
three sections in the test. There will be about 60 questions in the test.
How to capture the CAT Exam
In CAT exam, candidate will be provided with a
computer and he/she will be provided a rough paper for calculations. After the
test, candidate must leave the rough paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be
done on any extra paper/sheet, as nothing will be permissible inside the test
room.

Bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/professional experience, or Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy or Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretary ship etc. or Masters Degree in any theme.
Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Program conducted by institution like CAT, MAT, and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.
Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/ supervisory/ professional knowledge are eligible for taking admission into Diploma in Management only after clearing the entry test.
